Known for its shimmering, iridescent body and distinct red spot on the gill cover, it makes an excellent addition to community tanks and garden ponds.
Key Features:
- The Crimson Spotted Rainbowfish is an active swimmer and is best kept in a group of six or more individuals to encourage natural schooling behavior and vibrant coloration.
- Temperament - they are peaceful community fish and pair well with other non-aggressive, similarly sized fish like tetras, rasboras, and Corydoras catfish
- Beginner-friendly care level
- Maximum size: 12-15cm
- Ideal water temperature: 10.0°C - 30.0°C
